Fashion Monger - a beauty straight from the cat-walk!
Magenta-brushed ivory petals, sunlit yellow eyes, and stylish cream-coloured ruffs. It's not just one of our new faves...Bees and other pollinators love it, too.
These look stunning in a bouquet!
Collarette Dahlias with a single row of flat petals and a collar of shorter florets, which surround decorative centre balls. Adored by bees. Plant the tubers with the main growing tips just below the surface of the soil. Firm the soil around the tubers, being careful not to damage them.
An occasional spray with a fungicide is beneficial to control powdery mildew. To prolong the flowering, pluck off old flowers. This encourages further flowering. Cut back spent foliage to ground level each Autumn.
