Daffodil Double
Dick Wilden
Dick Wilden is a striking double-flowering daffodil, developed as a sport of the famous ‘Carlton’ variety. It produces bold, bright sulphur-yellow blooms with a full, layered form that delivers instant spring impact.
Flowering early to mid-season, Dick Wilden is one of the earlier double daffodils to bloom, helping extend the daffodil season. Growing on tall, strong stems over 67.5cm, it makes a dramatic statement in borders and is also well suited to cut flower arrangements.
Easy to grow and reliably perennial, this variety performs best when planted in generous groups where its colour and height can really shine.

Daffodils are among the showiest and easiest to grow of Spring flowering bulbs. Available in an incredible array of colours and shapes, they are ideal for the Spring flower garden.
Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.
Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.
If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
