🌸 ALL BULB ORDERS ARE PRE-ORDERS 🌸
If your order contains even one Dahlia, Gladioli, Calla, Begonia, Gloriosa or other Summer bulb, your entire order will join the pre-order queue. New Summer bulb pre-orders placed now are expected to dispatch around mid/late October.
Good news... the Summer bulb harvest is done and dispatch is in full swing! 🌸📦
Everything has now been dug, cured, sorted, graded and counted, which means we can give you a much more accurate idea of when your order should be heading out the door.
And what a season it’s been... on July 26 alone, more than 6,000 Dahlia pre-orders came flying in. Crazy! We’re pumping out around 300 to 400 orders every day and steadily chewing our way through the mountain.
Orders are dispatched mostly in the order they were received. The timeline below is our best estimate of when the remainder of each batch will leave us.

📦 Is my order a pre-order?
Contains a Summer bulb? Yep... it’s a pre-order!
If your order contains a Dahlia, Gladioli, Calla, Begonia, Gloriosa, Hippeastrum or any other Summer bulb, the whole order will be held and dispatched together when your place in the pre-order queue is reached.
The only exception is orders containing only edibles, such as seed potatoes or asparagus, and/or non-bulb goodies such as fertiliser, gloves and soap. These are not part of the Summer bulb pre-order queue and will usually head out within a few working days.
📦 A few handy notes
We’re currently pumping out around 300 to 400 orders every day, mostly in the order they were received.
We generally send each order in one box rather than splitting it into separate shipments. This keeps courier costs down and helps prevent parts of your order from going walkabout.
Once your goodies have been packed and booked with the courier, we’ll flick you an email with your tracking details.
💌 From the farm
It’s a pretty mighty pile of orders, but we’re getting there! With the giant July 26 batch now officially done and dusted, the whole team is charging through the rest of the queue and those boxes are flying out the door.
