Minnow is a robust and delightfully fragrant tazetta daffodil that brings charm and abundance to the spring garden. Each stem produces up to five small blooms in soft creamy yellow tones, creating a light, airy display that’s full of character.

A strong and reliable grower, Minnow quickly forms dense clumps and is an excellent choice for naturalising, where it will spread and return year after year. Like all tazetta daffodils, it is known for its sweet fragrance, hardy growth habit, and ability to perform well across most New Zealand climates.

Ideal for borders, pots, and informal planting, Minnow adds scent, softness, and long-lasting spring appeal.

Daffodils are among the showiest and easiest to grow of Spring flowering bulbs. Available in an incredible array of colours and shapes, they are ideal for the Spring flower garden.

Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.

Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.

If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
