Daffodil ‘Geranium’ is a multi award-winning tazetta daffodil prized for its delightful fragrance and generous flowering habit. Each strong stem carries clusters of 3–6 creamy white flowers, beautifully highlighted by a deep orange trumpet, creating a fresh and cheerful spring display.

Flowering from mid-season into late spring, Geranium produces its blooms on sturdy 35cm stems, making it a fantastic cut flower for both scent and vase life. Like all tazetta daffodils, it is a prolific bloomer and a good multiplier, rewarding gardeners with more flowers each year.

Tazetta daffodils are known for their hardy growth habit and are well suited to nearly all New Zealand climates. Strongly scented and highly reliable, Geranium performs beautifully in borders, pots, and mass plantings where its fragrance can be fully enjoyed.

Daffodils are among the showiest and easiest to grow of Spring flowering bulbs. Available in an incredible array of colours and shapes, they are ideal for the Spring flower garden.

Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.

Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.

If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
