Daffodil Tazetta

Silver Chimes

*Available January through to April*
  • 40-50cm

  • Full Sun to Part Shade

Silver Chimes is a multi award winning stunner! Being a Jonquil type variety, it bears 5–7 blooms per stem, each with a heavenly perfume.

Its white blooms impart a silvery sheen to the late-season landscape while pale yellow cups give added dimension.

Grow in garden beds, borders, rock gardens or naturalized areas.

Tazetta Narcissus (Daffodil) are very short-cupped, sweetly fragrant, mid-sized daffodils bearing loads of flowers (up to 20 per stem!)

Tazetta Daffodils have a very hardy growth habit and are suitable for nearly all NZ climates. They are good multipliers and are also strongly fragranced, adding this extra dimension to your garden or pot.

Daffodils are among the showiest and easiest to grow of Spring flowering bulbs. Available in an incredible array of colours and shapes, they are ideal for the Spring flower garden.

Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.

Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.

If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
