Gladiolus nanus ‘Robinetta’ produces clusters of magenta-pink flowers with softer, paler markings and a light, sweet scent. Flowering in late spring to early summer, it’s a gorgeous option for adding bright colour and height to borders, and it’s excellent for picking too.

Like other Gladioli nanus (also known as the “Painted Ladies”), ‘Robinetta’ sends up wiry, arching stems carrying several 6 to 8 cm blooms, growing to around 70 cm tall. Easy to grow and reliable, it performs beautifully in sunny, well-drained garden spots.

How to grow: Plant corms in a sunny, well-drained position in well-worked soil. Plant 5 to 7 cm deep, in clumps spaced 10 to 15 cm apart. Keep watered during active growth. Monitor for common issues like thrips and rust, and treat if needed.

Gladioli Nanus are a beautiful dwarf, Spring flowering Gladioli - their smaller stature make them perfect in pots, or as a border plant. They are incredibly hardy.

These petite, early-blooming, hardier-than-usual glads, are perfect for the Spring bouquet.

Gladioli Nanus can be planted anytime from late March through to mid/late May.
