Galanthus

Reginae Olgae subsp. Reginae Olgae

$15

Another rare beauty grown for us down in the deep South - thanks to Toni our Galanthus pro!

An Autumn flowering snowdrop – the earliest snowdrop to appear and flower.

It has the unusual habit of the flowers appearing before the leaves, in fact the flowers are usually open before they appear.

Although it naturally occurs in the mountains of Greece, we find it is perfectly hardy here in NZ.

It doesn’t like prolonged winter wet, so make sure they're in well drained soil in a sheltered area.

Given the correct conditions, it will multiply readily.
