Dutch Iris Discovery Purple (Iris x hollandica) features a fantastic deep purple flower highlighted with a touch of gold. A beautiful addition to the garden or vase, this one is sure to impress.
Dutch Iris are easy to grow with very low maintenance. They can be left in the ground for continual year after year flowering. Don’t just enjoy these outside they also make a wonderful cut flower for a fabulous and long lasting display inside. They prefer a full sun position in well drained soil. Most Dutch Iris are late spring flowering.
Among one of the hardiest, easiest to grow Spring Bulb varieties, the Dutch Iris is a real must have. They are a fantastic cutflower, lasting for a couple of weeks in a vase.
Flowering relatively early in the season (around September) on lovely strong stems.
