Full SunFreesia Double Mixed is a vibrant blend of double freesia bulbs, producing lush, multi-petalled blooms in a wide range of colours. Expect a mix of bright reds, pinks, purples and yellows alongside softer pastel shades, whites and creams, giving you a colourful spring display with a fuller, ruffled look. Beautifully fragrant and long-lasting, this mix is also excellent for cut flowers.
This premium giant flowering freesia strain produces large, heavily scented blooms on strong stems around 30 to 50 cm tall. Plant in groups for maximum colour and perfume.
How to grow Freesia bulbs: Plant in a sunny, well-drained position with protection from heavy frosts. Plant bulbs 5 to 6 cm deep and 8 to 10 cm apart in well-worked soil. For tidy clumps and easy lifting, use a bulb protection basket placed just below the soil surface. Feed for best results each season and keep an eye out for common pests and diseases.
Freesia Bulbs are easy to grow, and thrive in sunny, well drained positions, but need protection from frosts.
Plant your Freesia bulbs in well worked soil, 5-6cm deep and 8-10cm apart. To keep clumps together, why not use one of our bulb protection baskets and place it just below the surface of the soil.
