The sweetly scented, 2.5cm flowers of Daffodil 'Sun Disc' are buttercup yellow with a darker yellow cup that lies nearly flat against the perianth, producing the disc in the name. The effect is of a great many sunny faces smiling up at you. '

Sun Disc' is a Jonquil type variety and won the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Very late flowering.

It's short stature (only around 20-25cm in height) makes it perfect for the front of borders, pots, and rockeries.

Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.

Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.

If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
