Full SunPurk is a relatively new variety to us, but is quite the stunner! a lovely vibrant pink with striking dark bluey centres. Strong stems, and a stunning form.
A great cutflower variety.
Bred in Holland and named after the piglet in the Dutch version of Sesame Street.
Flowering Mid season. 45cm tall.
Triumph tulips come in almost every colour imaginable - they constitute the largest grouping of tulips with many thousands of varieties on offer. Triumph's are a hybrid cross between Early and Late singles, resulting in early to mid season blooms.
The blooms are single and have the classic tulip cup shape - Triumph Tulips grow to a height of between 25cm and 65cm, and are world renown as the perfect cutflower (sturdy stems, strong colours and they will happily withstand NZ's wind and rain)
Tulips love colder climates, but also do incredibly well in warmer climates (even as far North as the Cape!) - if you don’t have a cold climate like ourselves, we recommend chilling your Tulip Bulbs for 6 to 8 weeks prior to planting. This will trick them into thinking they are having their Winter period, and prolong their stems and Flowering period.
