Anemone ‘The Admiral’ is a must-have St Brigid anemone with incredible, upfacing double pink flowers and a dramatic dark blue centre of stamens. The blooms are full and ruffled, giving a lush, standout look in winter and spring gardens. Plant in generous groups for maximum impact, and enjoy them as a top-quality cut flower too.

‘The Admiral’ is a St Brigid (double) anemone, with extra petals for a fuller flower and a more luxurious display.

Anemones are great value and very easy to grow. For the longest season of blooms, stagger your planting and you can enjoy months of colour with minimal effort. For best results, chill the rhizomes for 5 to 6 weeks before planting (we’ve already done this for you), then soak in fresh water for 10 to 12 hours before planting. Anemones prefer cooler conditions, with soil temperatures around 12 to 15°C, so avoid planting in high temperatures.

Expect 6 to 8 cm flowers from early winter to late spring, perfect for borders, pots, and vase displays.

Anemones (also known as Windflowers) are one of the best-bang-for-your-buck varieties. One of the easiest ways to add colour and beauty to your Spring garden. Simple to grow, and incredibly floriferous.

These tiny little Rhizomes pack a real punch! Anemones are fantastic planted in mass, and make a great cut flower. To prolong your display, they can be stagger planted.
