Daffodil Tazetta
Kapiti Peach
Kapiti Peach is an absolute beauty — a newer tazetta daffodil, bred in 2017, and already a firm favourite. With its substantive greenish-white perianth and a cup-shaped crown in light orange-yellow, finished with a soft peachy-pink blush, this variety delivers refined colour and real charm.
The blooms carry a delightfully strong fragrance, making Kapiti Peach especially rewarding in the garden and as a cut flower. Flowering in the mid season, it performs beautifully in borders, beds, and planted in generous clumps where its scent and colour can be fully appreciated.
Proudly bred in New Zealand by renowned daffodil breeder John McLennan, this standout variety combines local pedigree with outstanding garden performance.

Daffodil Classification: 8 W-O (Tazetta)
Daffodils are among the showiest and easiest to grow of Spring flowering bulbs. Available in an incredible array of colours and shapes, they are ideal for the Spring flower garden.
Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.
Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.
If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
