Gladioli Nanus
Albus
Gladioli nanus ‘Albus’ is a gorgeous compact Miniature Gladiolus (also known as the “Painted Ladies”) with crisp white blooms and excellent flower power. Each corm can produce several stems, and each stem can carry up to 10 flowers, creating a full, bright display without taking up much space.
Flowering in late spring to early summer, ‘Albus’ brings height and elegance to borders and looks fantastic planted in clumps. With its sturdy stems and clean colouring, it’s also an excellent cut flower.
How to grow: Plant in a sunny, well-drained position in well-worked soil. Plant corms 5 to 7 cm deep, in clumps spaced 10 to 15 cm apart. Keep watered during active growth. Monitor for common issues like thrips and rust, and treat if needed.
Gladioli Nanus are a beautiful dwarf, Spring flowering Gladioli - their smaller stature make them perfect in pots, or as a border plant. They are incredibly hardy.
These petite, early-blooming, hardier-than-usual glads, are perfect for the Spring bouquet.
Gladioli Nanus can be planted anytime from late March through to mid/late May.
