Cassata is a stunning split-cupped daffodil that offers a refined twist on the traditional spring favourite. Its beautifully ruffled, lemon-yellow cup lies almost flat against impressive white petals, creating a soft yet eye-catching display.

As the blooms mature, the cup gradually fades from yellow to a creamy, near-white tone, blending harmoniously with the surrounding petals and adding subtle interest through the flowering period. Flowering in the early to mid season, Cassata produces its blooms on strong 40cm stems, making it ideal for borders, beds, and feature planting.

If you haven’t grown a split-cupped daffodil before, Cassata is an excellent place to start — elegant, distinctive, and easy to grow.

Daffodils are among the showiest and easiest to grow of Spring flowering bulbs. Available in an incredible array of colours and shapes, they are ideal for the Spring flower garden.

Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.

Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.

If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
