Hymenocallis
Festalis
Hymenocallis × festalis, also known as the Peruvian daffodil or spider lily, produces wonderfully exotic white flowers with a broad central cup surrounded by long, narrow, curling petals. The beautifully fragrant blooms sit above fresh, strap-like green foliage and make an eye-catching addition to warm, sheltered gardens. Its unusual flowers are also excellent for picking.
Plant in fertile, free-draining soil and water regularly during active growth. The bulbs prefer drier conditions while dormant and should be protected from heavy frost.
