Daffodil Double
Ice King
Ice King is a striking double-flowering daffodil prized for its elegant, soft colouring. The blooms feature frilly inner petals in creamy white and soft ivory, beautifully contrasted by large, pure white outer petals. The result is a refined, layered flower that feels fresh and sophisticated in the spring garden.
A wonderful choice for gardeners who prefer gentler shades, Ice King is the double-flowered form of the popular ‘Ice Follies’ daffodil, offering the same charm with added fullness and texture. Flowering reliably in spring, it looks especially effective planted in bold groups where its subtle tones can be fully appreciated.
Double daffodils like Ice King bring a delightful twist to the traditional symbols of spring, adding charm and interest with their layered petals and distinctive forms.

Daffodils are among the showiest and easiest to grow of Spring flowering bulbs. Available in an incredible array of colours and shapes, they are ideal for the Spring flower garden.
Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.
Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.
If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
