Daffodil ‘Ladea’ (Narcissus) is a refined spring bloomer with a soft, creamy colour palette that suits both modern and cottage-style gardens. Its elegant flowers sit neatly above fresh green foliage, creating a calm, classic look that pairs beautifully with tulips, muscari, and other spring-flowering bulbs.

Flowering in the mid-season, Ladea is ideal for planting in generous groups through borders, beneath deciduous trees, or in containers by the front door for an effortless burst of spring colour. Like most daffodils, it is low maintenance, long-lived, and happiest when left to naturalise and bulk up over time.

A reliable and graceful choice for gardeners seeking subtle spring beauty.

Daffodils are among the showiest and easiest to grow of Spring flowering bulbs. Available in an incredible array of colours and shapes, they are ideal for the Spring flower garden.

Prepare the soil deeply, mixing in compost, or our Bulb Fertilizer, preferably in a sunny, free draining position.

Daffodil bulbs are best planted in bold clumps, 8-10cm deep and 10-15cm apart.

If drainage is a problem, plant shallower, and mound 7-10cm of soil over the bulbs.
