Hymenocallis
Sulphur Queen
Hymenocallis ‘Sulphur Queen’ produces wonderfully exotic, sweetly fragrant flowers in soft sulphur yellow. Each large bloom features a frilled central cup with a green-striped throat, surrounded by long, narrow, curling petals that give it its distinctive spider-like appearance. The flowers rise above fresh, strap-shaped foliage and make a striking addition to warm, sheltered gardens.
Plant in fertile, free-draining soil and water regularly during active growth. Allow the bulbs to remain drier while dormant and protect them from heavy frost.
