If you’re wanting to add colour to your spring garden, there’s nothing quite like a mixed pack of tulips. You get a beautiful blend of shades and flower shapes that looks fuller and more interesting than planting just one variety, and it takes the guesswork out of choosing what goes well together.
Plant in generous clumps through borders for maximum impact, or fill pots and planters for a standout patio display. Mixed tulips also make fantastic cut flowers, so you can enjoy them indoors as well as in the garden.
Tulips love colder climates, but also do incredibly well in warmer climates (even as far North as the Cape!) - if you don’t have a cold climate like ourselves, we recommend chilling your Tulip Bulbs for 6 to 8 weeks prior to planting. This will trick them into thinking they are having their Winter period, and prolong their stems and Flowering period.
